30-7304 – 2-PORT REGULATOR REBUILD KIT

1. Remove 4 assembly screws (5). Set aside for reuse.

2. Remove cap (4), bracket (18) and retainer (17). Set aside for reuse.

3. Remove diaphragm spring (7) and discard.

4. Remove spring cup (14). Set aside for reuse.

5. Depress valve stem retainer (15) to expose retainer (16). Then remove and

discard.

6. Remove lower spring (9) and discard.

7. Replace lower spring (9) and install with new retainer (16).

8. Position new diaphragm (8). Make certain that the molded diaphragm loop is

pointing up, towards the cap.

9. Assemble the new spring (7) and retainer (17).

10. Torque the 4 assembly screws (5) to 12 – 18 in./lbs.

11. Loosen nut (2) and readjust screw (1) as necessary to achieve correct fuel

pressure on engine.

12. Then torque nut (2) to 40 - 60 in./lbs.
